Eunice. A small town located in the middle of Cajun country, is knows to locals as the Prairie Cajun Capital of Louisiana and is the hometown of Executive Chef, Drake Leonards.
The design intent for BRG’s Houston-based restaurant of the same name intends to meld the charm, character and liveliness of Southern Louisiana with the sophistication of Chef Drake Leonard’s international culinary pedigree.
This was achieved by layering farmhouse elements such as reclaimed whitewashed shiplap, patterned ceramic tiles, and classic farmhouse furnishings with graceful lime-washed walls, oversized plastered wildflower-printed wallcoverings, quilted fabrics and airy linen lanterns against a backdrop of stately oak trees seen through 20+foot tall glass windows.
Between the garden-like private dining room that seats up to 22, two chef tables, elegantly curved booths and a dynamic bar and lounge in the main dining area, there are many areas at which to enjoy some of the most refined iterations of Cajun Country cuisine.
An oyster & crudite station with a tiled marquee announcing Fresh Shucked Daily rivals the bustling open chef’s kitchen for guests’ attention to the industry’s finest executing their craft.
